Description
Enjoy a one day private tour to the capital of Scotland from your cruise ship in Greenock. A full day exploring Edinburgh Old and New Towns. With a personal guide this tour can be tailor-made for any size of group.
From Greenock we will make our way to Edinburgh via the central belt (M8). The drive takes approx. 1 hour 30 minutes which gives us about 5 hours to discover Edinburgh.
We will start off with a panoramic tour of Edinburgh's New Town then go up Arthur's Seat for some great views of the city and surrounding area. After a drive though Holyrood Park we will make a quick photo stop at Holyrood Palace and Scottish Parliament. Here you will get to hear all about Mary Queen of Scots dramatic life.
We then continue the tour up the Royal Mile to Edinburgh Castle. Our Qualified Blue Badge Guide will then take you on a private walking tour of Edinburgh Castle and the Old Town.
If you are at port during the time of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo we can arrange for you to enjoy the show then after the driver will take you back to Greenock.

- What's included depends on your size of your group. For 1 to 7 people the tour will include a driver guide and vehicle. For 8 people or more there will be a coach/minicoach, driver and guidie.
- We cannot guarantee the weather but we can guarantee the scenery.
