Go Scotland Tours was founded by Mike O’Rourke, who worked in the travel industry for many years before becoming a guide. Mike began his career with travel agencies and tour operators, planning trips, building itineraries and helping visitors experience Scotland’s landscapes, castles and historic towns. After years designing tours behind the scenes, he decided to take that knowledge onto the road and completed the Scottish Blue Badge Guide qualification, one of the highest guiding standards in the country. This combination of professional tour planning and qualified guiding is what shapes the company today.
