Explore the west of Scotland on this 4 day tour package of Glasgow and Oban. Glasgow is the city of charm and you will find out why on a full day panoramic city tour. Then the next day heard west to the seaside town of Oban. Along the way see the famous Loch Lomond and the Fairytale Inveraray Castle. The itinerary can be tailored around your schedule and flight times, ensuring a perfect fit for your visit.

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer
On arrival at Glasgow Airport, your personal chauffeur will meet you and take you directly to your hotel. After check-in, the rest of the day is yours to relax, explore the nearby streets, or simply unwind after your journey. If you arrive early and want to include an extra experience, let us know when you enquire.

Day 2: Time to Explore Glasgow
In the morning meet your guide at your hotel for a panoramic city tour. We being with a visit to Glasgow Cathedral and explore one of the oldest still intact church’s in Scotland. From here we see great views of the Historic Cemetery called the Necropolis, aka City of the Dead.
We then head down to Glasgow Green which is the oldest park in Glasgow and used for many events throughout the year. We will stop in front of the People’s Palace to see the exquisite Terracotta Fountain. After we travel through the Tolbooth and Tron Kirk area.
We continue exploring the city and go to George Square. In the heart of the merchant city your guide will take you around the square to show you the stunning Victorian Architecture and many Statues. Close by is Buchanan Street, the local shopping district. As an option you can stop at the Willow Tea Room for lunch.
In the afternoon we go to the Waterfront of the River Clyde. An essential part of the city for it’s industrial heritage. We will stop for photos at the SECC and Hyrdro. Then head to the Riverside/Transport Museum.
Ending with a tour of the Westend to see Kelvingrove and Glasgow University. As an option we can plan a visit to Clydeside Distillery or Kelvingrove Museum.

Day 3: Oban and the West Highlands
Spend a full day exploring the breathtaking landscapes of the Scottish West Highlands. Begin at the iconic Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the loch and surrounding hills. From there, travel west along a scenic route past Loch Awe and the dramatic Kilchurn Castle. Stop in the picturesque seaside town of Oban for lunch, a stroll along the waterfront, and time to browse local shops and attractions.
Continue to the historic town of Inveraray, home to Inveraray Castle, the ancestral seat of Clan Campbell and the Duke of Argyll. Explore the castle and its gardens while discovering the fascinating stories of one of Scotland’s most famous clans. On the way back, drive along the Rest and Be Thankful, one of Scotland’s most scenic routes, with sweeping views of mountains, lochs, and valleys. This West Highlands tour combines stunning scenery, rich history, and traditional Highland charm, making it a must-see experience in Scotland.

Day 4: Departure
Your chauffeur will collect you from your hotel approximately 2½ hours before your flight, ensuring you arrive at Edinburgh Airport with plenty of time to check in and relax before departure.
