Small Group Loch Ness Tour – Maximum 16 Passengers
Your adventure begins in Edinburgh’s Old Town before heading north into the Highlands. The first stop is Taste Perthshire, a favourite destination for local food, unique Scottish gifts, and a chance to meet our iconic Highland Cows. With their shaggy coats and gentle nature, these friendly animals are a highlight for visitors and make for unforgettable photos.
Into the Scottish Highlands
Beyond Perthshire, the landscape transforms into the rugged Highlands. Rolling farmland gives way to towering peaks, vast moorland, and sparkling lochs. This region is steeped in history, with stories of clans, battles, and traditions woven into its hills. Keep watch for red deer grazing on the slopes and golden eagles soaring above, adding to the untamed beauty of this remarkable journey.
Nessie Spotting at Loch Ness
Arriving in Fort Augustus, you’ll find yourself at the gateway to the legendary Loch Ness. Wander through the canals and stone cottages before joining an optional cruise across the loch’s deep waters. Listen to tales of the famous Loch Ness Monster as you take in the misty mountains and eerie depths. Whether you’re hoping to glimpse Nessie or simply enjoying the scenery, this is a magical experience that captures the spirit of the Highlands.
Through Glen Coe
The journey continues into Glen Coe, one of Scotland’s most dramatic and historic valleys. Shaped by volcanic forces and glaciers, its cliffs and peaks create a breathtaking backdrop. Yet Glen Coe is also remembered for the tragic Massacre of 1692, a story that lingers in the air. Pause to admire waterfalls hidden among the rocks and breathe in the crisp Highland air as you experience the haunting beauty of this legendary glen.
Return to Edinburgh
As evening falls, we travel south once more, returning to Edinburgh with lasting memories of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes. From history and folklore to natural wonders and the mystery of Loch Ness, this Highland adventure will leave you inspired and spellbound.

The type of vehicle employed on our tours varies depending on the number of passengers travelling on a particular departure. Generally tours are operated by 16 or 19 seat minibuses and 29 & 33 seat luxury mini-coaches. All vehicles are modern and specially built for comfortable touring. All vehicles have either forced-air ventilation or air-conditioning plus large panoramic windows to ensure the very best views. ABS, secondary breaking systems and a host of other safety features will ensure a safe trip.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS FOR SCHEDULED TOURS
When a passenger wishes to make a cancellation of a scheduled 1 day tour tour the following charges apply:
- Within 24 hours of the tour departure, no refund will be given.
- Within 2 to 3 days before the tour date 50% of the tour price will be payable unless the seat can be re-sold in which case the passenger will receive a full refund..
