Discover Edinburgh on this 3-day short break tour package. Base yourself in Scotland’s historic capital, one of the most fascinating cities in Europe. This trip is ideal if you only have a few days to experience Scotland. We can also adjust the itinerary to fit around your schedule and flight times.

Day 1: Welcome to Scotland!
When you arrive at Edinburgh Airport, a chauffeur driver will be waiting to meet you and take you to your hotel. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to relax and get used to the time difference. If your flight gets in early and you’d like to add on an experience, just let us know when you enquire.

Day 2: Time to Explore Edinburgh
Start the morning with a walking tour of Edinburgh’s Old Town. We’ll wander along the Royal Mile, slip into the narrow closes, hear some of the darker stories from the city’s past, and finish up with a visit to Edinburgh Castle. This can be arranged as a private tour or you can join a group if you prefer.
At lunchtime, you might enjoy afternoon tea at the Tea Rooms inside the Castle, or we can offer other options if you prefer something else, or free time on your own.
In the afternoon, head down to the Palace of Holyroodhouse*, the official Royal Residence in Edinburgh. We’ll provide tickets so you can explore at your own pace, with a free audio guide included. Still got some energy? Why not climb Arthur’s Seat for the best views of the city.
*If the Palace is closed, we can arrange tickets for the Royal Yacht Britannia instead.

Day 3: Farewell Edinburgh
On your final day, your chauffeur driver will collect you about two and a half hours before your flight, ensuring you arrive at the airport with plenty of time to spare.
