The itinerary can be tailored around your schedule and flight times, ensuring a perfect fit for your visit.

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer
On arrival at Edinburgh Airport, your personal chauffeur will meet you and take you directly to your hotel. After check-in, the rest of the day is yours to relax, explore the nearby streets, or simply unwind after your journey. If you arrive early and want to include an extra experience, let us know when you enquire.

Day 2: Explore Edinburgh’s Old Town and Royal Palace
Begin the day with a walking tour of Edinburgh’s historic Old Town. Wander along the Royal Mile, explore the hidden closes, and hear some of the city’s darker, fascinating stories. The tour ends at Edinburgh Castle, where Scotland’s history comes alive. This can be arranged as a private tour or as part of a group.
For lunch, enjoy a traditional afternoon tea at the Castle’s Tea Rooms, or choose a restaurant at your leisure.
In the afternoon, visit the Palace of Holyroodhouse*, the official Royal Residence in Edinburgh. Tickets are included, and free audio guides let you explore at your own pace. For those with energy to spare, a climb up Arthur’s Seat rewards you with stunning panoramic views of the city.
*If the Palace is closed, we can arrange a visit to the Royal Yacht Britannia instead.

Day 3: Royal Yacht, Whisky, and Rosslyn Chapel
Start the day with a drive to Leith, Edinburgh’s waterfront, to visit the Royal Yacht Britannia. This former floating palace of Queen Elizabeth II can be explored at your leisure via an engaging audio tour of its decks and state rooms.
Next, head to Glenkinchie Distillery to discover the craft of Scottish whisky-making. Enjoy a detailed tour through the distillery, then sample a Lowland single malt for a true taste of Scotland.
Finish the day at the atmospheric Rosslyn Chapel. Built in the 15th century by the Sinclair family, former Templar Knights, its intricate stonework tells countless stories. The chapel is also famous for its connection to The Da Vinci Code.
*Note: This describes a private tour. Group tours substitute Melrose Abbey for the Royal Yacht Britannia.

Day 4: Departure
Your chauffeur will collect you from your hotel approximately 2½ hours before your flight, ensuring you arrive at Edinburgh Airport with plenty of time to check in and relax before departure.
